Based on the Lae Urban Development plan and growth projection for 2050 the new city will be home to between 20000 to 30000 people. Local tradition and culture stand at the core of residential development Houses sit on pillars (stilts) where top level is for the living area and the ground level is used as a parking and storage In the first phase, there will be over 6000 houses with sizes raging between 150 sqm to 350 sqm
